日本語には「懐が寂しい」、「先立つものがない」、「首が回らない」など、お金がないことに関する表現がありますが、英語にも色々表現の仕方があるようです。“Bread and Butter”, “Bring Home the Bacon”, “Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees”, “Penny-Pincher”など。皆さんはご存知でしたか？

A1. “Bring Home the Bacon” is most interesting for me. Because bacon is not as popular as Japanese people eat it every day.

A3. I think one of the most famous penny-pincher is Mr. Kasuga, of the Japanese popular comedy duo Audry. He has a lot of money now, but he is still living in the apartment where her lived before he became rich.
A4. I bough my bicycle to commute. It has made me very convenient because I commuted on foot before buying it and it reduced my commuting time by 20 minutes.
